XRG 1.5 Generating Huge Number of Console Log Entr (Read 38 times)

XRG 1.5 Generating Huge Number of Console Log Entr

I was very excited to see the release of XRG 1.5, but it is generating a HUGE number of Console log entries of the form:
2009-10-06 1:10:35 PM XRG[971] In Network DrawRect.
2009-10-06 1:10:35 PM XRG[971] In CPU DrawRect.
2009-10-06 1:10:35 PM XRG[971] In Disk DrawRect.
2009-10-06 1:10:35 PM XRG[971] In Memory DrawRect.
2009-10-06 1:10:35 PM XRG[971] In Temperature DrawRect.

My Console log has bloated to over 60MB is just one day due to this bug, and so I'm unfortunately having to revert to the previous version until this is fixed. Sad

It ends up that the 1.5.1 archive didn't fix that problem like I intended. You want 1.5.2: http://download.gauchosoft.com/xrg/XRG-release-1.5.2.zip Sorry about this.

Hi,

When I upgraded my system to Snow Leopard I noticed that XRG is dumping an error msg into the System Log and the Console Log. The error looks like this:

Jul 26 12:38:35 TRONMini XRG[85251]: -[NSConcreteData floatValue]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x100388860
Jul 26 12:38:40 TRONMini XRG[85251]: -[NSConcreteData floatValue]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x1001ac7a0
Jul 26 12:38:45 TRONMini XRG[85251]: -[NSConcreteData floatValue]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x1001d2020
Jul 26 12:38:50 TRONMini XRG[85251]: -[NSConcreteData floatValue]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x1001b0eb0

I am running version 1.5.3.

Any help at getting that error fixed would be great (I could run XRG again).

Rzah New Member I Love YaBB 2! Posts: 1	Re: XRG 1.5 Generating Huge Number of Console Log Reply #7 - 08/08/10 at 11:54pm Getting the same error nyshawn reported, errors stop when I uncheck Temperature Graph. XRG 1.5.3 on 10.6.4, MacMini Server 2.66 Intel Core 2 Duo.

nyshawn New Member Posts: 2	Re: XRG 1.5 Generating Huge Number of Console Log Reply #8 - 08/10/10 at 7:33pm Interesting. Unchecking the Temperature Graph had no effect on the errors for me. However, unchecking the CPU Graph stopped them on my machine. Hope that helps.
